I guess I am at the point in my life where longevity and reliability is the most important to me. That applies to just about everything I do. I am the 5 flip guy before my blood pressure goes up and I move on to the next plane. I don't keep fishing at the same lake if the fish are not bitting.

My DLE 55 was one of my best engines I've ever had... Hundreds of flights in multiple planes. Super reliable, decent power and nice and smooth. And almost disposable due to the price. Tough to beat IMHO

Sounds like something I said a while back. (might have been a week, seems like a month on this thread). A maturing process. Set the Munchkins off, it did. (Oh my buddy loves that, Munchkins. I said it again). Get stuff that works.
Say a year ago, everybody were all over the EME 120's. How do I use this as an example? Next comes something else, EME are hobby grade. Use this with any other name, please. But are EME and DLE not equivalent?

The best part of finding enjoyment in life is find what "Works" for you, and you are comfortable with. Hence I transport my lifestyle in a Dodge minivan.
If a Zenoha 45 flies my hobby grade airframe the way I like, and gives me enjoyment. Best I keep doing the same. Called longevity, slang = Yes Dear.

Yes Trevor, our club has informal Hot Dog fun flies through out the year. The weather looks good, we send out a club e-mail. Hot Dog fun fly. Get a few out, do it several times a year.
Great way to keep activity in a group.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I think EME's are a darn fine engine!!! I'd take an EME60 or EME120 any day over a DA60 or DA120.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I've been exposed to enough EME 60's to think very well of them. I recommend them when they fit the bill in my opinion.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Let me add to that. But I would not recommend one to Jack.
