Let's paint a BVM Bandit!

Working on another project, painting a BVM Bandit. This is for a friend of mine who lost his at FJ this year. He had the bare airframe and it was close to ready for paint.

Here's the color scheme they wanted to duplicate. It's a BVM current scheme (not on their site, but it is a current scheme) that a friend of mine has. So he was able to send me the sizes for the markings....

So, after getting it prepped, the first coat of paint was a base of white.

The white was yesterday. Today I masked off the white and sprayed the orange.

Tomorrow I hope to get the markings added. Shouldn't be too difficult. With the exception of the intake markings they are all just single color masks.

Looks awesome Sean . Great idea putting a coat of white before the orange .. saves tons of paint and creates brilliance in the orange .. Looking good !!!!!!!!
