I like Ed's commentary now that I know he is usually just stirring the pot, but it may not be perceived that way by new comers. I have heard many people say that they have been turned off of this site by the rudeness of the people on here. I felt the same way when I first jioned, so I know where they are coming from. Now that I've been here awhile I've come to "know" some of the locals and quite enjoy it. Just try to make sure that people can tell where you're coming from, especially when dealing with new members. A winking smiley face can go a long way.
