Re: E revo Brushed Edition

Which E-revo do you have, the 1/10th or the 1/16th scale?

Re: E revo Brushed Edition

Should just be a direct swap then. Take out the brushed and put in the brushless. Depending on which brushless system you get you may want to think of changing the pinion gear.

Re: E revo Brushed Edition

Likely not giving you any new information but this would be a direct drop in. You would also keep your car waterproof with this system.

Sorry, not much help with the 1/16 other than to direct you to the Traxxas site.
You will find pinion and spur gear sizes here.

On a side note, my buddy has two of the vxl revo's for over a year and has had no problems with either of them.

Hope this helps.

Re: E revo Brushed Edition

im pretty sure the 380 brushless uses a smaller motor mount.

Your right. Motor mounts are differant.

You would also need this for the vxl.

Re: E revo Brushed Edition

I believe the brushed merv has the 550 titan in it so any of the 540 brushless kits should bolt right in

a caslte sidewinder kit is a polpular swap, if you search for a "big block" swap on most merv forums you should find lots of info.
