My RC past
Just to liven up your Saturday evening I thought I'd post this. What's this you say, people go out on Saturday evenings.
Here goes; My first RC car circa 1985 A Tamiya Bigwig shaft drive. Sorry about the res but scans of instamatic camera pics suck. It went OK but jumped like a 3 legged pregnant camel so it became an early truggy |

Then I purchased a Tamaya Lunchbox, big mistake so again I decided to experiment Then with a few extra parts bags and Saturday evenings it became this. It got lots of attention but required a football field to make a high speed 360, so I stretched it into this. By the way Buick in the background was almost new at the time of the pic. |

Then I bought my all time favourite, the Kyosho Turbo Ultima.
Great in the dirt, turn a few screws, throw on a different body and she was good on the road. Hopefully you too have some inspiration on those cold winter nights Well now it's time to have some real Saturday night fun ...................................... charging batteries ready for electric day in Markham |
