Manitoba I Crashed.

So I was at work today. Lunch break arrives. Awsome. I think I will pull out the blade. Beautiful terrain on the Bruce to Milton powerline. I was standing on the side of a hill which over looks a house and short trees. Flying over the trees back and forth doing great. Oops should have been left aileron not right. I lost it behind the loader and the outcome is severe! I have everything except main gear with oneway bearing. Should be up and running in a few days.

Re: I Crashed.

It hurts so much more when you run out of things to fly!

Re: I Crashed.

Coincidently I totalled my 30 size nitro day. So I know how you feel. Pilot error. Stinks.

But it's going to rain for the next few days, giving me time to get over it.

Re: I Crashed.

Well I decided to fly my mCPX this evening in the back yard. Everything was going good when I got distracted for a second and the heli flew right into the pond. I was in 2ft of water and was in there a good 30 seconds before I pulled it out.

I took it in the house dried it with a hair dryer and try it a hour later. It to my surprise flew fine, like nothing even happened. I was lucky.

Its all part of the hobby, fly-crash-flx & fly again.

Re: I Crashed.

No crash but a big dog try to eat my 450.I just managed to get it up and away in the nick of time.It came out of nowhere and scared the crap outta me.I drove twenty minutes away from town just to find a quiet place to practice some flying..Found a little spot by a creek which seemed quiet. The owner of the dog was appologetic as it kept trying to attack me while i was trying to hover my chopper.Got my heart racing lol

Managed to fly eight packs after that .Beautifull sunny day here.
