Smith Miniplane *SOLD* - RCCanada

Hi,

I have a Smith Miniplane for sale that I was in the process of putting together for myself but interests have changed.

The plane comes with:

- New cowl - unpainted & uncut

- Spare landing gear and wheel pants

- NIP 10oz Sullivan fuel tank

- 2 Dubro fueling valves - one works well...other needs rebuild

- Used OS .50 SX engine with original muffler

- NIP Bisson Pitts muffler

- Unused can of H9 True red paint for cowl

- 2 spare top wings - need to be recovered but structurally good

- New wing ribs in box to make new lower wing or for repairs down the road if necessary!

- Plans & Instructions

The plane needs a little work to get in the air but everything comes with it accept the electronics.

This plane has flown before with a Saito .56 and flew well. The Smith Miniplane is truly a classic biplane that looks as good on the ground as it does in the air. If memory serves me correctly, the wingspan is only 44" making it easy to transport in one piece which is a plus with biplanes.

The price is $250.00.

I prefer local pickup and am not interested in shipping.

That is such a nice plane and a very nice price! I just came very close to you on the 20th on my way back to the states. Dang!! I can't believe no one has snatched this up.

If I wasn't so far away I would drive there to get it. Good luck!

Thanks. It is a nice plane and if it doesn't sell I will probably fly it again one day!!
