Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Anyone up for a Serious question? How do most of you guys mount your Tuned Pipes or Canisters? I have been looking for a set of used Cans for a while but most of the ones for sale look like they are attacked with a ball peen hammer. Is there a way of mounting them so they are protected? Or are most of the cans I noticed dented and rubbed from a planting ordeal. I have a Tuned pipe that looks like the day it was bought.(Low Time). Are most of the products made so paper thin to save weight that they don't take any abuse.

What are your thoughts.

Steve DIDN'T want to sell the engine, he kept it because it was a SWEET running engine.

The one I had in my 33% SD Yak ran flawlesly after a little carb pop-off spring tuneup by Steve!......... Right up to the time I PLANTED it 9" into the Club 400 Sod farm!

You know with ALL this hostility comming from the West and the East you'd think I lived in Winnipeg or something! You NO MANS LAND, stuck between the W.C and th E.M. Sheeesh!
