I'm really happy it's there finally Paul, looks like it made it without any damages! Have you got the rest of the stuff, wheels, gear, struts, engine etc? Or are you still waiting on those things?

Re: Well it's getting shipped on Monday

I have everything except for the rear wheels and my new RX, and I just came from shipping and receiving here at work and have a box with WREN on it. I have to say this....... Ron at Wren USA is a pleasure to deal with a standup guy, he shipped this turbine to me on Tuesday and I got it this morning

Here's a link to a couple of pictures of my install:

Resolution sucks on this site.

If I were to do it over (I may do so over the winter) I would re-locate the fuel pump and UAT further forward with a view towards reducing the added weight needed because of the heavier turbine I have in the back. I have 2 A123 2300 packs plus about 8 oz of lead up in the nose to achieve balance and I hate having to add dead weight.

LOL it was nice to see a Flash that wasn't red/white/black with checkers. Not that I don't love that color but it's starting to remind me of the Blue Angels color scheme.

(says the guy with the "everyone has one" F-16 ahahahah!)

The bare weight of my Merlin is about 3.5 lbs. I have tried to keep the installed weight down. I used a mini fuel solenoid, no propane solenoid, Li-po ECU battery which prolly saved 2-3 oz.

I think you will like your Wren. I loved the Wren Super Sport I had an wish I hadn't sold it.

Cheers,

PaulD

OK thanks I will place a few things a little more forward, so far the service has been great with Wren Ron is really good to deal with, But I don't know if I should fly this jet because it is riddled with bad luck now I can't get the turbine started. been on the phone with Ron everything is setup right and doing what it is suppose to do but no go. I have removed the hose going into the front of the engine and I am getting propane up to there but while the engine is trying to start I can't smell any propane coming out of the back.
