Probably 1/16 balsa on the sides. For the top of the tunnel, directly under the fuel tank. I am going to try clear ultracote. That way you can still see the cans looking down into the fuselage.

The mounts still require some small sanding for the final fit and glue.
Tomorrow I will bolt the box down to the table over the plans for the final fit glueing. Then I can move onto the rudder sheeting and this won't be tugging at the back of my mind LOL

Got the tank/cannister mounts all glued in, but I forgot to take pictures.
I think I had enough yesterday LOL.

I also got the rudder sheeting all edge glued, cut to shape and sanded.

For fun I held one of the sheets behind the rudder of my 30cc Sbach ..too funny

Now to make arrangements with Tbrum for the lamination lessons

The build is looking great so far...... keep up the good work, I'll pop in when I can to see how she's shaping up.

BTW, Trev never did return my texts.......... I guess it's hard to text when you've got armloads of Monokote to hang on to
