Hangar 9 Pulse XT 40 ARF Build
Just picked up a XT 40 and will build/assemble it in the next day or two. Any tips/tricks, words of wisdom you can offer from your XT 40 build?
Cheers! |

Re: Hangar 9 Pulse XT 40 ARF Build
Yes what engine are you putting in and also nock out the Tnuts out and put 5/16 back in and put Nielonbolts back in so if you do a hard landing the Nielon bolts break not the fuse.
Other than that it is a great flying plane i sold mine a few years ago and bought back and had hole pile fun with it,For power i would go with OSMAX 52 OR Evolution 52 2 stroke lots of power. Hope this helps. Grant.

Re: Hangar 9 Pulse XT 40 ARF Build
I've done the T-nut replacement also for the wing bolts, but I just used 1/4-20 T-Nuts only to get away from the metric threads idea.
Grant's suggestion for the landing gear is good too. I've seen a few guys here use this idea too using 1/4-20 sized bolts.
