It is with great pleasure as your Scale Aerobatics Chairman that I announce Ivan Kristensen as the official team Manager and pilot competitor for the Canadian IMAC Worlds of 2014
Ivan brings a lifetime of world level competition and experience to the position and under his guidance and with the help of his management team, we will have a very competitive team for this most prestigious and important event!

He will announce the management team soon and the team selection process is moving along quickly as well. Stay tuned for news as it happens.

I am honored to have been nominated and elected by the SA Committee to be the Team Manager for the Scale Aerobatics Team Canada to the worlds in Muncie In. Sept 2014.

I have informed our SA Chairman Mr. Lee Prevost that I accept this nomination and look forward to the many challenges that lie ahead.

To help me out along the way I have appointed 3 assistant managers. Ms. Joy Barrette from Hamilton to help me here in SW'ern Ontario, Yves Lemire from Montreal in Quebec and Eastern Canada and Brent Bullen from Calgary in Western Canada.

As everyone knows the team selection process has been ongoing all summer with pilots competing in IMAC contests to accumulate points in order to qualify. That part of the process is now over as there are no more contests scheduled.

Your management team is already in full swing gathering all pertinent information. On the top of this list Yves Lemire is collecting scores from all the registered pilots. At this time you should have received an email from him with an attached spreadsheet with a request for you to fill it out and return it to him by November 10, 2013.

If you have NOT received this email please let me know ASAP and we will get one to you.

We have 48 pilots registered for the team, as of last night we have 22 pilots return their contest results. If you haven't already done so I encourage you to fill out this form and return it to Yves as soon as you can.

Soon after we have the all the results in we will post the names here.

On a personal note I'd like to say that I look forward to this event not only as a Pilot/Competitor but also as you Team Manager. This will be an IMAC competition at it's highest level so we all have to think about our "state of readiness" ie. prepare or build new airplanes during the coming winter months (as necessary), lots of practice and compete in as many contests as possible during next spring and early summer so we can be ready when the time comes.

Today Monday Nov. 4, 2013 we have 28 pilots turn in their contest results for this past year. that means that there are still 20 who have not.

Please send fill out the form you received from Yves Lemire and return it to him right away. The deadline is this coming Sunday Nov. 10.

Every effort will be made this week to contact the missing pilots. Please help us out by contacting Yves even if you are no longer interested in being part of our team, that way we will know where we stand.

If we have not received your information in time we will consider you to no longer be interested in participating and you will be dropped from the team roster.
