What is the difference betwween an Li-poly battery and a Li-ion battery? I have access to li-ion batteries and curious if they would work in a foamy with a e-flite 300 motor and a cc 10amp esc.

NO! Li-Ion ar like AA Cells on steriods. Li-Po batteries are flay and susbstatially lighter then Li-Ion. We are using Li-Ion in Glow and Gassers to replace NiCads and Nimhs for flight packs and iginition because they are lighter then both those but LiPo are lightest of the bunch

Reuire differnt charger settins as well as cut-off voltages are different.

For foamis use only Li-Pos.
