Aluminium Parts. Experiences - which is better?
Hey guys!
I have a Revo 3.3 and i'm looking to get some aluminium parts. I'm looking to see what kind of experiences you guys have had with your aluminium parts. i've heard Integy is terrible. Apparently they use use T6 aluminium instead of T0. they don't use the proper heat when making their parts. they don't warrenty their parts and they bend like butter. So i've heard anyways. some people say just stick to plastic because aluminium will bend over time and plasic will just break (and its still tough). should i get aluminium parts or just stick to plastic? if i should get aluminium parts what kind should i get and what parts should i make aluminium and what parts should i leave plastic? Thanks guys! Last edited by Charger; 06-13-2009 at 03:10 PM. |

I had Aluminum skid plates on my Revo didn't last long after a few jumps it all bent to crap! Wouldn't recommend them unless your going to make it a shelf queen. Go with RPM parts it's a better option, toughter plastic.
