Hi guys I just received my Jet Joe 1400 from Eastern Jet Models. What a beauty... I have to say its pretty slick - runs awesome just had it on the bench. I don't think anyone could ask for a better product. The price point is right, you can't beat it...

Plus these guys are the Canadian distributor for JetJoe and service the turbines ( bearings / balance and maintenace I hear ) - right here in Canada.

I felt more comfortable dropping my money here rather than further south.

Anyhow, just thought I'd mention it, good guys to deal with, and I have had a positive experience with the Jet Joe 1400 turbine. I will post pics when I get the chance, my wife is having another baby this week so I don't expect to be online much.

I just fired up the JetJoe 1400 - all I have to say is WOW. I have owned AMT Mercury 180 HP's which are powerhouses in their own self. This engine is the gear for this price point. Very smooth, typical 3-4 second spooltime...

Balance is very good, as good as any other turbine I've ever owned. Performance is a steady 14.8 lbs here at sea level with -8 degrees celcius outside with 40% relative humidity.

Very nice machine, steady thrust - no excessive heating on the tailcone at all... As Borat would say " very nice ".
