Carl Goldberg Tiger 60 Opinions?
Hi
My son is a novice flyer who is ready to graduate out of a trainer. I was told the tiger 60 would be a good choice. I have seen no reveiws for this model and was wondering if any one had experiances either positive or negative with this model. We have selected the thunder tigger pro 61 engine to go with it. Thanks |

Tiger 60
hello
I have the tiger with a OS70fs it a great air plane. This is my second plane first was a Kadet LT40. It is a very stable flyer and will do almost any thing you want it to do. I have had lots of comments what a smooth flyer it is. I believe your son will be very pleased with how it flys. Tom |

Tiger 60
Hi Muskegg:
The Tiger 60 is an excellent flying low wing trainer. Capable of flying all the aerobatic manoeuvers, or gentle as a lamb, depending how you set it up. You may find that it is marginal with a .60 engine. A 60 will fly it but it is not a very good performer with a 60, at least that has been my experience. Mine was originally equipped with a Super Tigre 61, and it was an OK flyer. Then I put a Super Tigre .75 in it and iy came alive. Due to some problems (I was too cheap to put a new on/off switch in and used an older switch I had laying around) it went in and all that was left was from the rear of the wing saddle to the tail. I rebuilt it with a foam wing, changed the ailerons to barn doors rather than strips(just out of curiosity), and put a Super Tigre .90 in it and it is a great flyer now. Don't get me wrong, the 75 was Good, I just thought I'd try the 90. Here's a link to a thread on RC Universe where they talk about some modifications to it. Enjoy then read and get back to me if you have any more questions. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/Tige...1367603/tm.htm Regards, Dennis
