simple green works great to clean off the oily residue around the engine and you can dilute the stuff to make alot more because the stuff you buy is super concentrated. Also it comes off really easy with an air compressor.

As for the rest, i find it best to remove engine, electronics and components with bearings/gears, then use spray nine and a toothbrush to scrub and a pressure washer and air compressor to clean it all off. the bearing and gear components get cleaned by hand. Theres no quick way to clean it all off without compromising something (like getting water in the bearings). |
