Hey, nice pics, specially Gisel, like her markings..... Now, behave yourself....
I was dissapointed in the pics I had gathered of the YAKS... Some came out ok, most didn't tho... Thumb size?????
Anyway, my album is getting full fo YAKS, nice to look at..
And, the 16th aint that fer away, next weekend, and we'll see how my 10gr'mer goes... i'm in the process of setting up another motor mount to take the Blue Wonder, just in case the 10gr aint up to par.... Gonna use a 7/3.5 prop on it first, the 10gr that is, if the Blue wonder has to be changed to, then I'll use an 8/4.3..... SF..
I still cn't believe what a great ship Gaston has come up with..... Gonna promote this at our January indoor.... Fer sure!

Nice pics Gaston ... heck of a turn out Sunday! Biggest group I ever seen in the gym! Tyler really likes his milled yaks. Thanks for that!

Cheers

Re: Blue Foamie

Five of us drove to the Soo Saturday morning to meet with members of the Soo Modellers R/C Club at their gym. The hospitality was great, they made us feel very welcome...until I had a couple midairs, anyways ... but overall, it went very well and was worth the trip.
Thanks to Kevin for showing us the way, Craig for his help and all the members of the Soo club.
Thanks to John Pearson for taking very good pictures and also to my passengers for accompanying me on this memorable trip.

Here's the link for the pictures.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Art

I got hit from behind by a prop, that really hurt, it was an accident, at least that's what Ray says... we certainly had a good time, it was a long day but it was all worth it. As far as my looks, my wife said I looked good at one time, now I can only rely on my bank account to keep her...

Yep, should be a bunch of blue foam falling from the ceiling, well hopefully not.

Thanks Gaston
Sounds good Bryan, I'm anxious to hear from you, the weight is close to the target, should be fine. I had mine at 4.2oz on the weekend but I used smaller servos TGY 1370A and a 16g HK 2402-2350 motor, worked out extremely well.

Re: Blue Foamie

Well, Gaston, I chickend out in regards to the 10gr motor... Altho the weight was a scant 4.2oz, i felt it just not enough power to fly properly, so, spent the afternoon yesterday, changing to a larger motor (one that I will probably wish I hadn't) its the E-Max 2812 and the prop I intend to use is a SF GWS 8/4.3...
Weight??? Darn, up to 5.25oz now.... Hummmmmm, will know for sure what ticks this Sunday comin....
It should be an interesting morning with Bryan and Johnathon there with theirs.... And I understand our SW zone director, Frank Klenk will be showing something new off to...
Boy, gonna be a busy morning what with the fun competitions we are planning... The guys don't know whats ahead yet, they will have to wait and see and keep their fingers nimble.... Ha ha...
Till Sunday then.....
