Can common place super glue be used as a replacement for CA while building a kit?

Good advise Ron.

When I have been out of CA I have opted for Lapages carpenter glue. Takes a bit longer to setup but is cheep and does a real good job. Just make sure you have a good fit on your parts and can clamp/hold them together with elastics until the glue sets. Not a perfect solution but it will keep you building and won't break the bank buying store bought super glue! Just an opinion/suggestion!

If you really, REALLY gotta use hardware store super glue, make sure it is the type that says its for wood and leather. The regular type won't bond wood worth

!! And you WILL pay about 100X the price!

Way better to keep a good supply of quality CA on hand at all times!
