Anyone interested in an RC swap meet?
Has anyone thought about having a club swap meet? I know we all have some stuff that is not used, obsolete, damaged, not competitive or whatever in out basements or garages. Your trash may be someone elses treasure. How about having one, lets say an hour or two before a club race. Some folks have too much stuff to post it in the forums. What say you?

ok, but do you do it now at the end of the season?
Or in the spring.. at the start of the season. Most swapmeets for hockey, sking, (aka seasonal activities) happens at the start so you are selling to people who want to play.. not to people who are putting it on a shelf (prices tend to be lower) Just a thought?

Maybe we could have an indoor "bring out your new goodies / motor comm cutting / dyno "party" sometime over the winter.
I for one am willing to run my lathe as long as the consumeables like cutting bits and cutting fluid are covered. Narly1 |
