The CF looks so sexy, it think you will have to create a clear top portion for the cowl!!!

Trev,

Are you doing the NACA Ducts for the rear cylinders on the top of the cowl?

Are you doing any additional baffling on the tob of the cowl to encase the cylinders?

Not much use now but last year I discovered some paint that was for polycarbonate car bodies called Lame Flake. This stuff is colour changing flakes suspended in clear. You spray it on first and back it with whatever colour - black is best IMO - and it gives the canopy some bling. I did the canopy of my Elan last year with it and this worked awesome - until the canopy imploded on a high speed pass at the Victoria air show practice day on Friday. Ripped the top deck cowling right off and broke it in two. We found it way down one end of the. Flyover area. Those Elan canopies sure have gotten thin.....

I think with the Crome bling you are putting on this thing it would have looked awesome.

Re: 126" Carden Extra260 / MVVS190 - BBT

While the family is away, I'm going to take the opportunity to set-up my paintbooth in the workshop and spray all the parts

I bought the pole system last year when I did my first booth and they work great.

Tomorrow AM / evening I'll prep all the parts and I'll start spraying on Tuesday night once home from work
