Looks like snow/cold weather is now here already, therefore it’s time to start thinking about another get-together!

So here it is:

2015 IMAC Winter Blues, Woodstock, ON at Guillaume’s

WHAT is IT?: place to meet new pilots, socialize with your IMAC friends discussing your projects, flying, practicing and freestyle (& sure we can all comment on Guillaume’s crash!)

WHEN: Saturday March 7th 2015
• 3pm - Doors open
• 3-6pm - Snacks & Drinks (everyone is welcome to bring a snack to share but not mandatory, BYOB)
• 6pm - Pizza Hut Dinner ($10 each includes soft drinks)

Saturday Post Dinner Activities:
• Foam cutting & Vacuum Bagging discussions and maybe Demonstration?
with new projects on the go, I’m attempting to master this art! I’ll do a demonstration and others with experience can also weigh in on setup and techniques.
• the Dave Rees Skyward 40 Build & fly Challenge
in previous years, I’ve had buddies Dave Rees, Scot Harrisson & Tom Hastie over prior to IMAC related events and we have often challenged ourselves to build and fly something over the evening & into the night…

I’ll supply a Classic Skyward 40 kit and all building materials, the challenge will be to build, cover and fly it the next morning after breakfast! Anybody who shows up the next day can have a turn at it and will fly it through its paces by challenging it to the 2015 IMAC Basic Sequence

Please no drinking and driving so have a buddy take you home if required or contact me for Hotel information

Optional Sunday Breakfast and Flying
• 8am – Breakfast @ the Heritage Pancake House in Woodstock, ON (401 & Hwy 59)
• 10am - Maiden and 2015 Basic Sequence flying with Skyward 40 @ the Woodstock Model Flying Club (Skis or Wheels TBD). Your welcome to bring something to fly

WHAT to BRING?:
• no outside shoes in the house so, bring your best slippers/extra pair of sox or clean indoor shoes please
• everyone is welcomed to bring a snack to share (chips, dip, donuts, appetizer…watermelon full of vodka??!! Whatever you feel)

Raffle Sponsors are welcomed as per last year – all who responds to this thread or contact me will be eligible to WIN (if there’s prizes!!??)

We had over 25 guys show up last year and it was a great time

All who will be attending please contact me to let me know (for good preparation)

I’ll post the address a few weeks prior to the event or simply PM me and I’ll send it over including contact numbers

Cheers
Here my address:

371 Fairway Rd
Woodstock
N4T 0E1

Please find parking in the street, leaving room in the driveway for those who need it

Cheers
G.

Cheers,
Boy, you might be in luck, in this move I found one that my parents had and some how ended up with me. I believe it is 8mm. I will take a look for you.
