Runs great, does everything I ask of it.

The "blue cylinders" were A.I (Gerhards) touches that were applied to the engines by 3W. I believe they were then painted by Gerhard.

Gerhard no longer has "his" touches produced!

They used to be sold..Classic...AI...Competition!

Jack, is kind of like "Fire Truck's"?

Nice to have the fastest Fire Truck.
But nicer to put the fire out!

Dale... So far I've had nearly every type of engine out there... Only had 4 issues so far... DA100L front bearing (minor detail - no one's fault), BME58 reed failure (easy fix and could happen to any engine mfg), 3W106 inverted flight issues (3W gave me the aluminum reed block and issues resolved) and the Mintor60 issues.

So far never had even a speck of problems with any of the other DA, 3W, ZDZ, Zenoha, evolution, MVVS, GP, EME, DLE, etc. just flip, fly and enjoy!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Exactly Trevor.
The poor retailers are blessed with a high percentage of user induced issues.

I think the worms just hit the floor!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

So what is the real "life" expectancy of a 2 stroke RC engine? Anyone ever wear one out?
Assuming there wasn't operator induced issues.
