Here's one of the best laid out descriptions of the Basic sequence I've ever seen.
It's actually a judging template with diagrams and descriptions, but it can also be used as a pilot's guide to accurately flying the sequence, maneuver by manuever.

http://www.mini-iac.com/Portals/0/Ed...2013_frame.htm

Print this off and keep with your flight box!

Found on the IMAC site Training tab- go here: http://www.mini-iac.com/Portals/0/Ed...2013_frame.htm

There's more videos, etc etc... explore!

Lots to keep you busy!!

You can pay using the PayPal link.
If you click About IMAC from the top menu bar, then click Membership it will take you to a page with 3 step instructions with a PayPal link.
I used it to join last year and it worked.

Re: Scale Aerobatics/IMAC for Begginers!

Figured it out, I had to log out of the website before I could find the appropriate page then log back into the website, thanks for directing me back there Paul

Planning to attend next weekend ( not to fly ) with Dave ( you know him from Humber days ) to enjoy the great flying.
Cheers
Steve

Great, I will look forward to meet you then and seeing Dave again.
You both should reconsider and fly the contest. I sat on the fence thinking of it for a couple of years then tried it last season and really enjoyed it.

I am hoping to go out to practice shortly. Are you and Dave flying today?

As Paul said, you will learn more by flying than watching. There are people to help and also call for newcomers. We all started somewhere and once you see there is lots of help available it becomes more fun to play than watch

DITTO!

Your making the Trip. Throw an airplane in the car and come fly. Even if you can only com Saturday, one day of flying it outweighs 5 months of watching it. It's on;ly flying to a little discipline, that's all.

DO IT!

Re: Scale Aerobatics/IMAC for Begginers!

Life isn't that easy for me right now so the odd day of flying is nice and the days events will be a fantastic diversion from reality. I understand the need for more competition and competitors so if everything goes goes well this year I just may be able to use my very imac ready hanger with the rest of you.

In the meantime I have several friends to root for down there and shall be more than happy to enjoy myself doing such.

Cheers
Steve

Paul, Trevor just called to give me kaka for never showing up but he said your a much better pilot so it doesn't matter

LOL

Re: Scale Aerobatics/IMAC for Begginers!

Steve,

Stoney Creek will be the 1st time I've flown the 2013 Sportsman routine this year.

Life to is rough for me with work and then the crapy weather we've had.

We'll be glad to have your company Saturday but don't be surprised if the CD doesn't ask you to help out perhaps with scribing!
