Re: Freewing

It seems the Great White North has little choice but to order from other countries to get the latest EDF equipment unless you only buy Eflite products. KMP models started bringing in Starmax 90mm jets years ago but Starmax seems to have gone out of business.
Canada needs a hobby dealer to bring in Freewing Models as they will get many modellers hooked on EDF with their relatively reliable products.

BTW I bought the kit version from PW-RC on line from China. They only have PNP now

It is available from others

MotionRC from USA has both versions

Re: Freewing

Probably significantly cheaper to order from China, ems shipping takes about a week...find hobby has a 90mm F100 ready to fly for $155

Even I'm tempted, this is darn cheap for a big pnp 90mm jet.

Re: Freewing

Recently ordered through Hobby Paradise in China - I ordered 3-5 items and they couldn't ship it all together as 1 part was not avail till the next week - So they shipped them seperately - They didn't charge me shipping twice and they gave me a free Lipo-Charging-bag saying so sorry we couldn't ship together - Very impressed!

Re: Freewing

I've had nothing but good dealing with Hobby Paradise. They ship as fast as Hobbyking (if not faster) and don't f-up orders. They are my #1 HK place to order from.

I'm curious as to what power system is included for the "PNP" F100 as the typical FlyFly motors are not really adequate for the typical higher weights of the F100. The Flyfly motors sent with a number of orders for my Flyfly jets has been a 1500kv Outrunner which gives rather lame performance on 6s and it certainly could not take 8s without burning up. It would be just OK for many of the lighter Flyfly jets. Interesting that Findhobby has 1200-1600kv listed for the motor. Which one is it? If there is a 1200kv available for 8s, it might be OK but who knows? I personally would buy just the kit as the PNP servos are also likely questionable.
