The switch I detest is the spring loaded slide switch on the DX7. We had a lot of students start at our field last year that had purchased DX7's. I applauded them for that.
But dredded having to hold that slide switch pushed up with my thumb for 10 minutes at a time. It digs into your finger terribly.

I hadn't even thought about that one.
Is it possible to change the switch on them or is the hole in the case too large to do it?

Its actually a spring loaded 3 way switch, center neutral.
It slides up or down and is also the trim for the flaps.
Changing might be difficult if you ever needed that feature.
The hole is rectangular
