Hey I'm new on the site and I was just wondering if anyone can help me out.
I found 5 engines in an old box that my grandfather left me in his basement.
3 of them are Super Tiger Motori Engines 15 FI/RC. On the Engine it self it says made in Italy and comes with Italian Instructions. And then I have 2 O.S. Max Engines and both are different styles. I have O.s 10 and 20. I'm doing very little handling in order not to break them. So What I'm wondering is are these valuable? are they wanted? What would the price be for one of these?

They arent valuable as in worth alot of money.$150-$250 for all of them possibly.

Yup there older, there's that Udisco name again we all like, I 'd have to say that those engines are of very little use, most new guys go electric and engines of that size are for .10 -.15 size electric's , now if a collector was interested then it could be a different story, most guys will want to pay $15-$30 each if your lucky, but a collector if there rare then they could be $125-$300 maybe and I say maybe, best of luck, Jim.

Generally you get zilch for this sort of stuff in Canada while doing much better on ebay.

If you go with the latter, in order to maximize your return, it is essential that you promote them as what they are, which gives them their value. They are vintage, collectable, new in the box, with all original paperwork, packaging and boxes, in mint undamaged condition.

There are people who appreciate this stuff just to have and admire it. In Canada, from my experience, it is more of a crash and bash mentality. Just abuse and run the crap out of it - then pitch it. And if it's second hand, even if never used, pay nothing. If it's older, pay less.

Not passing judgment here. Just reporting what experience has shown.

BTW, in the interest of accuracy, your Italian engines are Super Tigre, not Super Tiger.

In my (opinionated) opinion, I think that Grandpa would likely have wanted you to play with them. I always wanted the kids to show a bit of interest. Just make a trainer join a club and have fun. If the motors have been used at all, as long as you don't break the needle valve you can still get a bit of money for them later. It is only a tank of gas and a case of beer, no memories or fun. They run pretty good, not sure about muffler rules at the club. The new chinese motors (ASP, AP)are only $40, so that keeps the prices down on the old stuff.
