Race Format (schedule for the day)

Well it looks like we will most definitely be ready for the first race!

I've been getting questions s from people on times etc so here you go!

8:00 - Gates open and open practice can start whenever you are ready
8:30 - Computer and everything should be up and running to register everyone
9:40 - Practice closed
9:45 - Drivers Meeting
10:00 - Qualifying starts

Format for the qualifiers:

Length - 5 mins
Warm-up - 2 minutes
Silence - 1 minute.

The silence thing might be a new concept for many people but here is how it works; after the previous race is finished no engines will start and no one will be driving on the track. Pitmen for the nitro's will walk the car over the transponder loop to check the car in. Electric cars can either be walked over the line or driven over one by one. Once all cars are checked in you can start the cars up and the warm up will begin.

The reason for this is believe it or not it should speed things up, especially for the first round and any round with a re-sort. This helps to ensure that everyone is in the correct race and has the correct transponder number in their car and entered in the computer.

Mains Format:

A Mains for Nitro 30 Minutes
B Mains for Nitro 20 Minutes
C Mains for Nitro 15 Minutes
D + Lower Mains for Nitro 10 Minutes.

1/8th Brushless A Mains will be Triple 10 Minute mains!!
1/8th Brushless B Mains and lower will be single 10 minute races

CORR Truck Mains will be 7 Minutes.

I think that covers everything.

Of course these may be lengthened or shortened at the race directors discression on the day of the race if needed.

Looking forward to seeing everyone out racing this year!! I think that you will be happy with the new track! Just a teaser... it's pretty technical
