Once the new forums stabilize, reset your time zone in the user settings somewhere.

User CP -> Edit Options -> GMT-5 -> Autodetect DST

Re: What the heck is happening now??

I have acessed RcCanada on two operating system XP Pro and Vista Home on the laptop and everything is working fine for me. I will let you know if anything gets frustrating. I know when I first looked at the website I was frustrated but it is very user friendly once I was over the learning curve thanks for the updated website Jason. Keep up the good work.

Martin

Re: What the heck is happening now??

Same here. I find this new site much better than the old one.

Re: What the heck is happening now??

Just got locked out for about 10 minutes when I clicked on the preview post button. Nothing wierd about the post, it had a photobucket clickable thumbnail but it has never done that to me before.

Re: What the heck is happening now??

It sounds like the security tools are overacting on certain sites...

I'm working on it...

Re: What the heck is happening now??

RCC News My Quick Links
Ok in the centre of mine and I presume every one elses home page, are two tabs with above noted headings, RCC NEWS, MY QUICK LINKS, on initial entry to RCCanada The my Quick link Tab is open and the following " Select your default tab", now this is a question to all those that are in the know, and is probably a Dhr!!, doh!!! or what ever question, where to next??? I have pressed the tabs but they will not correct themselves, same message keeps popping up, hey but it's no biggie.

Re: What the heck is happening now??

One other suggestion. I don't quite understand why the message body column has to be so wide. If you shrunk it, then the complete messages could appear on one screen, without having to resort to scrolling over to get the whole message.

Having to scroll is a real downer.

Angry Re: What the heck is happening now??

I can only echo the thread title "What the heck is happening now??" ..... I am still unable to access this site ever since this new forum was instituted ...... all I can get is the message "400 Bad Request Error" ............. my configuration is unchanged and from third party diagnostics it would indicate a problem with the sites server.

I am accessing from another computer and even from this access point it takes a considerable amount of time to effect access ............. there is obviously something badly amiss with the new server configuration and I am at the point of giving up ...... and I would ask the the admin of this site to delete any reference to my entity......................................
