I have gottin a Mini from P.A and i want to put some good servos in it .
I am thinking the HS56s the 55s dont seem to center that well. the others i was thinking was the new E-flight s74sa but i havent heard anything about them and opinions would be great. the plane is very close to the same size as the Mini Funtana from e-flight. thanks Rob

I used HS 56's on my Mini`Funtana. The control arm supplied is also bigger than the HS-55 so gives more throw. (it also has a top bearing and has .39oz vs .28 )

Futaba has some new micros 3110's out, 22 in-oz and .1 speed, 7.7 grams weight. Price is quite reasonable at Tower for 14.99 not sure what stores up here are selling them for.

Extra long arms are included as well.

I have a pair of Hitec HS-55s in my Slowstick. They're a good servo.
The Futaba 3110s look like a good deal though.

I just bought 4 of the Futaba 3110s and they were $21.99 ea at Hobby Hobby. More torque then the HS55s and pretty fast. Centre seems to be dead on and they come with a small and Large four arm control horns.

I though they were a better value at only $2.00 more then the HS55s.

Bob, I just checked the Hitec website and the HS55 has only 18oz of torque @ 6.0v and the new HS56 only has 17oz. I think you were looking at the weight.

Nope

I checked a website in the US; wasn't the hitec site. Looks like they have some errors in the servo info. Sorry about that

My price was wrong on the 3110s from Hobby Hobby. I just looked at the actual box I have and they were only $19.99 so I'd say they are a real good deal.

Will have to see how they stand up but I don't have any reference to judge them against as these are the first micro servos I have bought!

They are holding up in my heli nicely......they have replacable gears which is a big improvement over the non-replaceable versions that Futaba had last year.
