I also have "something" floating around in the wing but I didn't open it up 'cause everything else on the wing seemed to be solid.I assumed it was a "knock-out" from a rib "lightening hole" they didn't get out. My wing checked out "real solid" including the "hold-down" bolt.
I also had to notch out the right "cowl cheek" for the muffler and I used yellow dope on the engine compartment. The only "mishaps" I've had, other than a bent landing gear from a "not-so-perfect" landing", was to loosen the throttle servo platform while doing some "violent snaps" at to high a throttle setting. Like you fellas' say ---It's not the best for percision aerobatics but it sure is fun to "bank and yank" around the sky.....

My ST .61 is installed, battery is beside th Rx and it balances at 4.5''
Now if the weather would co-operate I will fly it. 14 x 4W APC will wind up to 10000 rpm, but static rev-up is slow... What a great looking airplane. Covering job from the factory is perfect. My only complaint is the wing bolt, it won't tighten without stripping so I relpaced it, no movement now. Ian

I have flown my Twist with the GMS 61 in it for 6 months and it climbs like a homesick angel, leaves my buddies 46AX powered Twist far behind, it does a really nice inverted flatspin in fact my buddy and I come down flatspinning side by side mine doing inverted and his right side up looks really neat. It hangs on the prop at 1/3 to 1/2 throttle. The GMS 61 has a really nice howl in a power dive too.

So after just scanning this thread:
1) the twist tends to come out tail heavy with a 46 sized engine. 2) the twist performs much better with a 61 Thus, the Super Tigre 75 I have here should be perfect for this plane?

To clarify, you can move a .46 forward (carve the top of the nose to allow the muffler to move forward another 1/4 inch) and put the battery under the fuel tank and it balances fine without weights.
The ST .75 will be loads of power, really depends on how you want to fly it as well. I have more than enough power with my .46FX and it keeps climbing so I'm fine with it. If you have a .75 in stock, then why not. My only comment is to just be concious of excessive vibration as this plane is lightly built. Bob

My intent would of course be low and slow. I would be looking for the largest dia x smallest pitch possible. Possibly a 3 blade prop. This ST75 isn't real strong - comparable to a hot 61. I guess it would be too much. 'Was just thinking aloud.

My original prop an APC 14 X 4W was too much for this engine to peek. Replaced with an APC 13 X 4 W and now she screems.
Food for thought with your .75
