save the TC3 for gamers lair... use the 4-tec for the ice running... if i was to put studs in the tires.. i would take the tires off the rims... then put screws from the inside to the outside of the tread...

well on my truck i found a really old set of tires from the 80s that were really hard and put 1/2 inch self taping screws threw it, in your case id put them threw the rim becouse the tires wouldent be stiff enough

try brass thumbtacks

use brass thumb tacks through the tire and get the hardest foam you can find. Then you only ruin a pair of tires.I used hard styrafoam insulation from home depot on my revo and they work amazing on ice and lots of sparks on pavement, junk in snow though now i just run chains. My first try i used 5/8 inch selp tapping screws through the rim and tire and the tire keeps getting stuck on spikes after balooning from high speed, and also 1 jump = 2 broken rims. hope this helps

sorry

i dont know anything about onroad but if tires do not use foams and tires are rubber and sit on rim(no sidewalls) it will be fine. You know the little gold thumbtacks i mean? if you need thumb tack head to sit tighter on rim use hot glue it will go hard and be fine. Also dont forget you have to bend the head of each thumbtack just a little and make the spikes directional for better handling they WILL work better than straight spikes but after 10 runs or so you may have to twist some back into shape.
