Wingham Jet Rally 2016.
Hi Guys, The WJR 2016 dates are a go for July 22, 23 and 24. As usual flying at the field is available all week for anyone who wants to take advantage of this great facility. Friday the 22nd is test day for pilots who want to fly untested models on the Saturday and Sunday when the public is there.
In addition to our local awesome pilots, I have confirmed that Ali and Graeme will be there. Graeme has volunteered to help judge the second annual "WJC Smackdown Champion". Brian from Big boys is bringing a huge R/C car track for us and the public to play with (cars supplied), than you Brian I can't wait to try this out ! Also don't forget the mass foamy launch at noon on Saturday. Attached are three posters with details, one for pilots, one for spectators and one for accommodation. Camping over night is not available this year at the airport but a camping/trailer park is in Wingham right down town, However I'm trying to get camping space beside the airport please stay tuned. Tent space on the flight line is available for $175 a bay 10' x 20', let me know if you want tent space on the flight line. I will be giving out more details as thing develop. Don't forget Ken and Jeff's jet event at Carp on July 8,9,10. and Thunder thrust in September. |

Nice to see your all set for 2016 Just an update! Brent Norman, Jeff Daily and Ken Park are now to be known as "Ottawa valley Jets" a Maac sanctioned RC Club for Zone G We will be announcing our event once all the paperwork is all offical but the date we are after is the Canada Day weekend mainly Saturday July 2 at the Carp Airport Cheers Ken PS: Wingham 2015 should be in the next issue of RC Jets International written by Jorge and Karen Escalona

Ken, that's news. You have technically formed a club?
I'll be retired next summer & hope to finally make Wingham. Not long until we see if JOI gets run in the Nov /Dec issue of MAC Magazine.
