When the Aurora 9 came out, some people thought it looked wierd, same with the JR 11X, but the Spectrum 10X may take some time to get used too!

Nicely featured radio though.

Re: DX10.... a face only a mother could love

As I am a member of the "I have the hands the size of a 10 year old girl club", my concern would be the distance of the gimbals from the edge of the TX.

The switches, well that pic isn't great but I see potential for conflict in a quick action. I would like to see one up close and personal, but won't spend 75 bucks on gas to go look at one at the LHS 120 miles away!

It looks like that because it is meant to be used with a transmitter tray that that you rest your hands on the side and use your fingers to operate the control.

yes, you guys do realize it's a European tray style radio? Not sure how successful it will be here in NA, not that many guys using trays.

Re: DX10.... a face only a mother could love

Reminds me of a Multiplex radio.

Re: DX10.... a face only a mother could love

This a standard shape, European tray radio, they been made like that for years with amazing adjustability, customization you can only dream of with our standard radios. I am considering buying one, once they prove them selves a little. By the way, for me, the current, hands down, ugliest radio has got to be the JR 11X.

Re: DX10.... a face only a mother could love

Well, IMHO...it looks fine. Assuming all the bells and whistles work, and the owner doesn't use it without a tray, I can't see a thing wrong with it.

Those wide pads on the lower right and left side seem to be intended as hand rests, and one's fingers should be no further from the sticks than on a "regular NA" Tx.

That being said, I'm not in the market for a new Tx, so I should probably keep my mouth shut! Dzl
