Bashing BARRIE style with RC-TV ! --- On hold for Date and Location

 To all of you BASHING enthusiasts !

I have talked with a few of you about a bashing event up here in the north, and some of you liked the idea.

With that in mind I have talked with the boys at RC-TV and proposed a Bash Day. They thought it would be a great idea too ! So here is what we have thought of ...

BARRIE BASH-OFF.

Location and date to come.

4 Proposed stages.
1. Big air Jump
2. Short track race
3. Obstacle course (timed)
4. Rock crawling area

From what I have heard Sunnidale park might be a good spot, (BMC is always an option as well), but all suggestions will be taken into consideration.

Thanks for you input !

Great !

Thanks Tire tec and offroaders.

If you plan to attend and have a jump, great. Let me know and I will try to work them into the course. (Let me know the dimensions)

I will work on a layout for the stages and possible track config and post soon.

'Til then have fun and bash away !

having organized a few rc events let me give u some warning as to location make sure you have the full support of the township and NEIGHBORS and that you aren't anywhere where there might be any sort of danger to the general public or else u might land yourself into hot water

that being said there are many suitable locations in the city of barrie where a simple permit can be obtained to hold such an event

Just in case u are questioning if i know what i am talking about I have organized a couple of rc events now and was also head of security for the pepsi grand prix 2yrs running which is one of the city of barries largest events and know from that there is a lot required for a little bit of CYA

I have been working on a location near barrie to hold this yrs bash in the bush nothing is locked in yet but if u were at last yrs then rctv might be best to hold off for that

Ah. 00nothing you may have a point. No sense in recreating the wheel ...

What weekend is there already something happening with the Bashers ? I have talked to Nick and he is game to come up and do a bit of filming.

I will also look into the permit for the best options.

Thanks for everyone's interest, but we will hold off on the Location and Date until we find something that work.

00nothing you have made a great point. Location is key.

I will check with the City and see what area we might be able to use.
