what to use for pull start cord?
Im having issues with the pullstart on my cen genesis. It keeps breaking. I thought possibly it was because of too much compression but it was fine for the longest time. I bought a spool of nylon rope same size as the oem pull cord. It just keeps breaking. So i bought polypropelene cord same thing keeps happening. I found an old set of blinds and tried the cord off those i even tried the plastic weedeater cord and it just wont hold together. I want to fix it so i can sell the truck easier. Any help is appreciated.

Re: what to use for pull start cord?
You can go to Home Depot and buy a ( dry line) in the
tool section. That works the best. |

Re: what to use for pull start cord?
I ended up finding a spool of cord from a Mach 26 and its been working good so far. Its a smaller diameter than the oem cord. I guess its just because its new and not been soaked in fuel repeatedly for a few years. I had a length of 1/16" steel cable in my hand at home depot, I was really hoping to not have to use it lol
