Re: Question for Mr. Mailloux

Steve, What is your current power set-up do you currently use in your 40%?
Redundant power/ switches? Charger? Power box or power expanders?

Re: Question for Mr. Mailloux

Fromeco a123 2300, 2pc. Redundant power, with deans out.

http://www.fromeco.org/Products/01FR...4/Default.aspx

The Switch, Deans in, Deans out. 2pc.

http://www.fromeco.org/Products/04FR...0/Default.aspx

The charger, Ion cube with red charge cards with Brain. Optional green cards to charge liion or lipoly.
I can charge all my batteries in the plane at once with this charger, and more if I have the optional charge cards.

http://www.fromeco.org/Products/03FR...4/Default.aspx

I am running a Y cable from my deans switch to two leads to my receiver. So in total I have 4 inputs into my Rec.

The switch give me the real time feed back of the capacity used from each of the packs.
Just like any power system there are a million and one ways to accomplish the same thing, it all depends on what the end user feels comfortable with. In the end I believe that Fromeco with all there products were able to give me the complete power package.
Since this battery technology is fairly new I wanted something that made me confident in using the technology.

Hope this helps.

There is some info on FG forum.
