Just got home from a 8 day vacation at the hospital and have a fairly extended recoup time, basically, the whole summer. So, I'll have time on my hands to play.

Thanks for the offer John. We have plenty to keep us busy at this time. Between improving older jets and unfinished new projects there is no time left except for some flying.

That's fine Eric, just thought you'd be interested. Since seeing the video, texted a good friend who is looking to get into EDF and is quite British. Loves the DH planes of the 40's and 50's. We are checking to see if we can locate a gently used one. Need only the fuse, canopy and front gear doors, and the retracts and struts. The person can keep the rest.

I'll post a kit bash post if we do locate one. Since I'll have all the templates and computer files, Instructions etc, I could offer them inexpensively.

One note of caution for Venom owners. The last couple Vwnoms we assembled required weight in one wing for balance. This latest needed two quarters to be glued into the right wing tip for balance. This will help prevent wing drop at low speeds.

I experimented with the elevator throw and reduced the throw to 15 mm . This has all but eliminated the wing drop especially at low airspeeds.
