hey guys. I recently picked up a ez glider model elec.1800 used.comes stock with older type motor and speed control futaba fp-mc107 olso has hi lo gains on it? .Im not to sure what there for and olso what battery this would take.I have 2c 7.4 volt 1800 lipos and 3c 2140 11.1 can i use these? olso I have a spectrum 6100 reciever park flyer can i use this or is it to small? Im a nitro heli guy and dont know much about electric gliders. but now I own one and it looks like all it needs is a battery and reciever a bit of programing and its good to go.any help would be great. thanks.

.1800 used. You payed too much---Just kidding, couldn't help it. The gains adjust your throttle settings. Put your throttle stick to the bottom with power connected. If you turn the lo gain one way the power will start to come on. Back it off so it turns off and then go a bit more so it wont glitch on in flight . The hi end sometimes has an LED to indicate full power. Same idea, adjust till full power is reached.Try your 2S lipo first, most set-ups of that day were 6-7 cell Nicad packs. A cheap outrunner/ESC wouldn't run you much if you fry it on 3S. A pic would be neat.

What Tree. Don't feel too bad about you're location. The hobby shops don't cater to the soaring end of the hobby much. If you want something nice or different, It has to be mail order from another vendor even with a great hobby wholesale on my doorstep .
