Pick us a gasser!! For the price and support in your area get a HPI Baja 5B or if money permits get a FG or clone of one.

the tmaxx is good and all but you can get a better car for the same price like a revo or the lst. you have to check your stores and see what cars they support. if you dont want a monster truck you can get a jato which is really good too.

i would say get the lst2 it is a tank for durability and makes a great racer, it is also easier to work on than the older savages i had one and hated working and cleaning them but the lst2 is easy to work on and tune also good on fuel just my .02 cents

batteries and charger really dont matter.... IMO

savages are alot tougher than most trucks but harder to work on, except the new 4.6, theyve designed it to be easy to work on. but Revos are prolly the best! if youre not gunna race, dont bother getting the 3.3, ull pay an extra like, 50 bucks for 5mph higher top speed. The 2.5 is just fine, ive driven both. i dont no if anybody has recommended a certain fuel yet, but i run SideWinder 20% nitro/12% oil that way you dont need after run, btw NEVER USE AFTER RUN WITH SIDEWINDER 20/12!! a black sludge will build up in your engine well thats my 2 cents, good luck in finding the right truck!!

Regards,
Trevor

na they dont blow savys away, savys are wayyyyy tougher but prolly to hard to work on for a first truck.

but you may want to go with a stadium truck, there bloody simple and still great bashers.

If you got the money, go for a FG MT, theyre friggen nuts!!

All this talk about Savvy's, Maxx's, REVO's and such, one truck got over looked. The After Shock!! They run awesome, are tough as Savvy's and are VERY simple to work on. Plus they're one of ( if not THE ) least expensive MT's on the market.
