They took the 43% and thined down the fuse and stretched it a bit, so it can use the 40% Extra 330/300 cowl. Wingspan reduced from 126" to 124" and the wing is thinner.

Kinda like what Dalton did to make their Extra 300ML verssion.

Some guys thought the 43% was a bit beefy and effected a lot by wind so the slimed verssion Pro is to rectify that.... to the best of my knowledge, but what does an HQ really know!
Thanks Jeeeem....I guess I should wake up and get with the program...lol

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Eric,

I was a little off on my description of the Pro. It is the same length as the 42% but a skinnier fuse and 2" shorter wings.

Here is a comparrison:

126" Extra 300 Mid-Wing
Wingspan = 126"
Length = 119"
Wing Area = 2873
Power Class = 150 - 210cc
Price = 1795.00 (Plus shipping)

Tech Notes: The 126" Extra 300 kit includes a carbon fiber wing and stab tube set from PBG Composites, and a CnC router-lightened tab-lock motor box.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
124" Extra 300 PRO
Wingspan = 124"
Length = 119"
Wing Area =2728
Power Class = 150cc - 200cc
Price = $1795.00 (Plus shipping)

Tech Notes: The 124" Extra 300 PRO kit includes a carbon fiber wing and stab tube set from PBG Composites, and a CnC router-lightened tab-lock motor box.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
118" Extra 300 Mid-Wing
Wingspan = 118"
Length = 113"
Wing Area = 2517
Power Class = 150cc - 170cc
Price = $1495.00 (Plus shipping)

Tech Notes: The 118" Extra 300 kit is available with a CnC router-lightened tab-lock motor box, or the standard motor box as a builders choice.

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Yes a 300 which is my favourite version but this will be the single place canopy vs the two seater that most have built. There is a real one like it if you go to the Carden site I believe.
I will be doing some CF mods to this one both for strength and weight, and the paint scheme will of course feature some FUTABA colors and checkers (I love checkers)

Not sure if going s-bus but I'm open to the possibility although the Smartfly system in my current plane has been bulletproof.
