What's with Hiflight ?

I've been checking Hiflight's website looking for Aeroworks planes and a few other items but no AW planes are listed nor are any gas engines. I tried calling their toll-free number today and it's "out of service". Anyone know what's going on? I hope they're still around as I've enjoyed dealing with them. Doug and Michelle have been great to me.

Thanks

Re: What's with Hiflight ?

Gentlemen. Before this thread gets rampant with rumours that are stated as "fact", I think it is important to clear the air. Great Hobbies has not purchased Hiflight nor has it been involved in any way with Hiflight's change in business plan, whatever that may be.

Thanks TGH1. We don't need rumors. I've done A LOT of business with Great Hobbies over the years and very much like doing business with them as much as HiFlight. Whatever Doug is doing with HiFlight is his business and I wish him well. I just wanted to find out if I should continue trying to contact them or not.... Now I know. Thanks and good luck Doug / Michelle !

Re: What's with Hiflight ?

So...THAT explains the giant 50% off sale the last 10 days of September...which Doug billed as an "Anniversary Sale".
It kept going past the initial three day limit and appeared to be a fire sale....
Anyway I dropped some coin there but only got what was in stock....a pile of Hitec servo stuff at half off.
