question,

i use a drill to start my buggy, instead of the roto start, does any one know the rpms a roto start has, because i am buying a new cordless drill and i wanna make sure it has enough to start the buggy with ease???
i have a force 26 engine in it

thanks

you'll never find dril with as much rpm as the rotostart... but that being said, you can still use the rotostart with a drill... i use a dewalt 9.6v and it gets the job done... just make sure you set the torque really low or you'll go through one ways

battery

ok does your battery on your drill last long, or can you only do it after you charge, because my battery on my drill lost alot of power last time i used it, it took a little while to get my buggy started.

If it's for a buggy use a started box. Once you have one you'll never go back. I use a SVM one and it's great. Anytime my cell dies I just plug it into my Gel cell in my car. A good drill will cost you at least $150 anyway.

my drill will die if it takes a REALLY long time to get it started (20 min+)... however i'm with selwa, the best way to get your buggy started is a starter box for sure... for the price of a good drill you can get a starter with a 12v cell and power panel that has a glow ingiter and everything on it... its definately the way to go...

I use a drill with my EK4, works great! I've used both my good Craftsman 18volt and my cheap Dewalt 14.4 both have no trouble starting the big .70!
