Wonderful Weather Once again.

We have new boards. Although not entirely complete they were very ready-for-use. Some paint and minor tweaks and they'll be set.

It truly was a great day, although it seems most of us had little gremlins hiding in our motors all day that no matter how hot we ran them cudnt burn em out.

The track and race organisation was again flawless as usual. The track had awesome traction and from the above diagram it dosnt look to difficult but the first corner into the chicane was indeed very trick and if you hit it wrong you would loose loads of time. The fast sweeper demanded all of our attention as it really seemed there was only one safe line and that was going slow, which none of us were about to do.

I was amazed to see the 12th Open class, WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW that was amazing to see something that small fly down the back straight and cut through the chicanes like butter. Johnnnnnny (Postman) P. posted a 12th scale modifed win and the fastest lap overall (including the Nitros).

As for the Minis...... Scott Smither showed us how to turn Tamiya MO4 Miata into a Tomahawk ROCKET as he spanked us all.

The 10th Open Elec was definately the closest class as it was a toss up between Nick E, Joon K, JB, Martin C and Steve B whos car had a serious gas problem(dont feed that motor so much beans Steve. The doctor (Martin C) like John mentioned aboved prevailed and put on a good show, however kudos go out to Nick and Joon for the UBER clean racing, both those guys showed true racing etiquette both are winners in my book

The nitro class which I came out of hibernation for was looking to be a good one with top runner from last year Brenno TQ'ing. Howard cho had a rough day in qualifyin due to engine problems and we were all disapointed not to see him in the A as Brenoo, Ty and Howard looked to have very fast cars.

Unfortunately for Brenoo a accident in warm up kept him outta the race and Ty just dominated the entire race while the rest of us were what only can be desribed as looking for directions, yours truly ended up outside of the track off roading it!!!

Thanks again fastCats for the great day of racing and I cant wait for the next race!!!!! Thanks for everyone who came out and look forward to seeing you all again this Sunday for some more racing!
