Yes I going to go with a permanent install for the wing. I have a plane trailer so transportation isn't a issue. I going with DLE 35 because I have learnt you just can't have enough power. I also wanted the extra power as I'm hoping to go with 3 blded props. I have all the cowls spinners, wing tubes and canopy from precision cut kits. I'm not planning on doing a build thread as I found in the past it's too much bother and not lot of guys are interested.

n4 is smaller than N5 consequently the sheeting doesn't fit properly. I purchased the kit from precision kit so it may be there fault.

I concerned about the tail mount as it seems very under engineered.

What made this project possible was I purchased the main retracts for $80.

If you don't mind I could post a few pics and comments on your thread but don't want to hijack it.

I installed the plate for the tail wheel retract today. I had a rhom air nose retract sitting around and it's going to work great.

Scale aircraft always need a crap load of weight in the nose. So everything I get in the nose will go there and will going to make a compartment for the ballast.
