My Pal Sid is having a problem. He is building another 1/3 scale cub (number 8 or 9 I think) he wants to mount a enya 120 in it but the exhaust is causing lots of problems. The pipe that connects the muffler to the cylinder exhaust port is manufactured at an angle that it will cause him to butcher the cowl just to get the exhaust out. He has tried heating the pipe and bending it but is afraid to try bending it more as it looks like the bend maybe folding in and may cause a restriction in exhaust gas flow. Any ideas to help Sid out? The engine is hung inverted and he dose not want to have any more of the exhaust showing than is necessary.

There is a kit available from MRC that makes use of a bendable pipe that allows you to put the muffler anywhere you like. I'll see if I can dig up a link for you.

Mac's have some Enya exhaust items that may work.
