Hi guys just to let you know of our club - Prince Edward County's upcoming two day scale rally event July 2 & 3 for those who maybe interested in attending. All scale R/C models are welcome and facilites include a 2500' sealed runway as well as 600' grass airstrip. Onsite camping for self contained Rv's and trailers is permitted for this event, also plenty of off field accomodation options are available also with nearby in Picton and Belleville for those attending for the weekend and you can also arrive Friday evening to set up and maybe have a quick pre rally fly-

The town's website indicates dates of 1-2 July, not 2-3 as in your posting. Can you confirm the dates?

Hi Derrick, dates are confirmed for Picton Scale Airshow as 2 & 3 of July 2005....Iam not sure why those dates are incorrectly posted I will see that it is corrected, thanks for bringing that to our attention..

Just a reminder guys that the Picton scale weekend is only a couple of weeks away now.... So whos coming and what will you be flying?????

personally I will likely bring a long one of my jets to fly! my latest and current favorite Mig-15

Just wondering if you will be bringing along your Hurricane? I am interested in the Vailly plans and would love to see it up close!

Is this fun-fly open to more "agile" scale planes? I have a 33% Edge I'd like to throw couple couple flights on...

I'm assuming there will be tight frequency control?????

Hi Steve, sorry for the late reply I only just re read this thread today 'bit late' eh! I only took my Mig to Picton, not enough room in my minivan for more than one jet really... was a great weekend for the first time event good turnout with about 50-60 models from WW1 through to jets, great weather also... I only had one flight on Saturday with my Mig due to some minor damage to nose gear upon landing (bounced it) doh!
but enjoyed catching up with lots of friends and spectating for rest of the weekend

Just wondering if anyone took some more photos during the weekend????
