Hi Frank
Here's the link for the motor I was using, I love those little motors, very smooth and lighter.

Hi Frank, I'm not sure which motor Gaston had at London. If it was the one that he sent to Art it was the following:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=6547
We have also used the following one a lot. It is more subtle with it's power but works extremely well:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=11887
He has also used a E-flight 250 but thought it used batteries quickly. In all cases a GWS SF 8043 prop was used.
Hope this helps......Hugh

Hi Frank
Hugh is right, the motor I was using when you flew my Sbach was the Turnigy 2402 with a GWS 8043 prop. I'm still using them in my foamies, the one Art is talking about is the Turnigy 2204-14T which is a very good motor and half the price but a little heavier.

Re: Blue Foamie

The 2402 is the one I will buy. Plus it is lighter. It's all about light on these planes. The throttle was very linear and smooth on your plane Gaston, impressive. If this stupid cold weather keeps up we may just have to book a few more indoor sessions somewhere!!

Re: Blue Foamie

Hey Frank, I see by this mornings weather forcast (Ha ha, BS) we are in for a milder spell towards the end of this week....
Maybe your right, we should find more indoor spots, this year I should have carried it on till the end of April, damn it....
The Turnigy 2404 is approximately 19gr... It kept the weight of my Yak down to 4.5oz.. My sBach is gonna have the same motor, only I'm going to use all the items that Gaston included this time..... No mods, just as it comes out of the box...
If it's over the 4.5oz mark, then I guess it's out with the hole cutter and lighten it??????
Whoops!!!!!
