the best off road truck has got to be the H1 in stock form and for all round versatility

home built trucks with big assed tires(35-37 inches will do it) ,high horsepower engine, heavy duty trany with bolo and manual external over drive (rock crawling), 12 inch susspention lift (6 inch lift min) heavy duty drive shafts (12 bolt min 14 preferably)

Ya we do some serious off roading up here and 85% of the trucks around here, fit the above desription

NOPE theRam is the best ALL around truck SrtNothing I mean nothing can touch it ie corvettes ,stangs,srt is the worlds fastest truck 155mph the lightning used to have the record but then along came dodge. ford was going to try topping the srt-10 but gave up trying and scraped their plans.Avalnche is called that for a reason ...the parts avalanche off the truck i f you take it too fast over a speed bump at the grocery store .for the truck of the year contest in petersons 4 wheel and off road mag the avalanche couldnt finish the testing cause to many parts fell off LMFAO,the ultimate 4x4 would be a jeep but wait till you see the truck of the year this year ...Its the dodge power wagon sweeeet Now that s grabbing life by the horns.

Funny thing is Dodge had to come out with V-10 to beat the SVT!!!!!!!

Now, the 2005 SVT Lightning, 500+hp on an V-8 that will most likely blow the doors off the SRT-10.

The SRT-10 is a friggin TANK, its like driving a HUGE hunk of steel, I know this, I drove one on boxing day, the Lightning is FAR lighter and handle way more like a car than a Dogged out Dodge!!!!!

bingo... with 2 less cylinders u drop alot of weight.... look at the mid 80's when the mustang svo came out... the stang gt killed it on the strip but on a road course it got raped hard core.... by a car that had half the cylinders... and just think... 500 hp is nuttin' for that V10 to push out... and its nuttin' for the V8 to push out either.... its just another round of the muscle car wars... but high tech....
