Wall hanging airplanes
So I've decided that I need to organize some airplanes before my wife gets rid of them so I need some suggestions. What is the best way to wall hang the fuselage? I have a finished basement and plan to take up a wall or two and then shelve the wings in the furnace room, the problem is im over thinking this. What do you guys do that's simple and effective?

Re: Wall hanging airplanes
Other than from the ceiling beams I use standard wall shelving hardware with the longest arms available.
Here's an early pic. Those arms are rather narrow so some protection is required. I split air hose lengthwise and slipped that over the tops, then surrounded that with the pipe insulation available from H/H. That can but slit the same way or purchased where it bonds together once installed. Works great.

Re: Wall hanging airplanes
I have done this for my racers, 1/2"dowel hung from the ceiling and bungee chords around the tails. I do have other sport planes randomly stored through out the basement
